About us
Futuregames has been a leading games education in Sweden for over 20 years and has provided a large part of the current workforce in the games industry nationally.
Today we run schools in Boden, Karlstad, Skellefteå and Stockholm with around 600 students in game art, game design, game programming, game testing, VR/AR, Project Manager Games & IT and more.
The schools work under the parent company Changemaker Educations AB, a rapidly growing education provider working across the digital and creative industries.
Futuregames programs are accredited and regulated by Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education MYH.

About the job
As Head Teacher in Game Programming, you will have an active role within the educations in Skellefteå. There are both classes focused on mobile platforms, and towards C++ programming. You will be a part of the planning, developing, teaching, and evaluating the education. You will also be teaching and coaching the students as well as cooperating with other teachers, guest teachers, head of educations and others across our sites. The role also includes maintaining and building industry-related relationships.
Futuregames’ main concept of learning is through Game Projects, where multi-disciplinary teams work in close connection with mentors and game industry representatives. You will be a part of the team, planning and executing game projects or all educations.
About you
To be eligible for this role, it is required that you have worked as a game programmer. In your previous role you have gained industry-specific skills and experience from working with C#, C++, and game engines. In addition to these skills and experiences, you also have a teaching aptitude. You are structured and meticulous in your way of working.
