Head Teacher/Föreståndare

Planet Kids Nursery School, an English-speaking Parent Cooperative, in Stockholm (Östermalm) is seeking a qualified Head Teacher for its program.The school is Montessori-inspired, focused on the educational and developmental needs of pre-school children, aged 18 months - 6 years old.As Head Teacher you will be responsible for the daily operation and management of the school, as well as for the curriculum and staff.The person we are looking for should have excellent leadership qualities as well as broad experience from working in a pre-school environment.You should be dependable, nurturing, and highly motivated, and have good organizational, communication and management skills.A university degree in Early Childhood Development and Psychology or Swedish förskollärarexamen is preferred.Candidates should have an excellent command of English (native language is desired) and Swedish.No phone calls, please.
