We are looking to recruit a Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Leader to be responsible for managing, co-ordinating, and overseeing all HS&E, and Sustainability programs and processes for Mondelez Integrated Supply Chain for our World Class site in Uppland Vaesby (UV), Sweden.


In this role, you will full responsibility for the HS&E agenda for the UV plant, managing site annual plans and action plans to deal with non-conformance and compliance issues. You will also act as primary advisor to the Manufacturingok Directors and contact point for all S&E Managers for all Safety & Environmental & Sustainability matters in Bournville. You should also set standards for performance and Continuous Improvement (CI).
You will manage the delivery of all HS&E activities in a manufacturing facility or commercial areas (offices, Sales, Warehouses) , including standards & procedures, capability processes, reporting, compliance and audit. That means you will define and review standards and legislation applicable to site, validate design for HS&E into projects and modifications, and support defined work processes (e.g. IIM pillar) to improve HSE application and effectiveness. Also, you will map all applicable legislation and internal standards, ensure ongoing compliance and manage relationship with legal department and local authorities. How you will contribute
You will:
In conjunction with the Plant Director and HSE Cluster Director, develop the annual Safety & Environment and Sustainability improvement plans for the manufacturing site at UV.
Develop HS&E strategy and agenda for the site, through the Manufacturing Sections, participating in management reviews and using tools and techniques to identify cross-site opportunities. Coach and support the Factory Leadership Team and Departmental Management in delivery of their local HS&E agenda.
Lead HS&E Specialists and Co-ordinators, as well as coaching and providing strong support to the team.
Provide reports and insights into UVs KPI’s to the Mondelez European Team.
Drive and support the implementation of the Mondelez International Safety, Security and Environment Standards, ensuring best practices are adopted, and standardized actions plans are developed and implemented across the full site.
Ensure relevant Safety, Security and Environment training requirements are identified for the site, and that appropriate training packages are developed and delivered to support the implementation of Mondelez standards/procedures, and to meet legal compliance. Ensure
Lead the development of systems and processes to achieve and exceed compliance with all HS&E requirements and company policies. Conduct assessment of Plant’s performance against relevant Mondelez International standards
Ensure that appropriate Risk Assessments in HS&E are performed to minimize or eliminate company’s employees, contractors, visitors, assets, or reputation. Provide cost effective alternatives and solutions to unacceptable risks surfaced from the Plants.
Provide technical, analytically based solutions and advice as a key member of the Plant Leadership Team and Manufacturing Section Management on issues relating to Safety, Security and Environment.

Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Experience with Health and Safety audit
