Health and Safety Specialist Electric Vehicle
 Are you passionate about personal safety and electrification, and would like to join us in being fully electric by 2030? Then this is a unique career opportunity for you.
Your mission
As Volvo Cars is going to be fully electric, we are looking for a passionate Health and Safety Specialist with focus on electrical safety. You will work closely with one of Sweden’s most outstanding experts in electrification. Together, you and your team will be a key player for reaching our goals of being a climate-neutral company and to be a circular business both by 2040. Amazing, right?
Your mission is to drive the electrification development and is eager learn more and to share your knowledge, as one of our experts in electrical safety. In this unique role you will both be working on developing new rules, procedures and protective equipment, as well as advising on design, product development and manufacturing processes.  
As an expert in electrical safety, you will also support and educate managers throughout Volvo Cars in their work to meet legal requirements and be proactive to continually improve the work environment. Your work on risk analysis in areas of development, testing and production of electric vehicle components and cars will have great impact.

You, your skills and your potential
As required skills we believe your passion for electrification earned you a BSc or higher in engineering with focus on electrification. In order to collaborate and communicate with our regional and global teams excellent written and spoken English is a must. You are also experienced in personal safety electric installations, have good knowledge in performing risk analysis and Swedish legislation in work environment and Swedish electrical legislation.
In this unique position, we highly value your potential and willingness to quickly grow your competence in electrical personal safety and we are open to connect with all levels of seniority in this field.

Location
Placed in Gothenburg with occasional travel to our offices in the US and China, to share knowledge about electrification with your colleagues.
