Floatel International AB is a Swedish company in the offshore oil and gas industry. We manage three accommodation vessels in operation, one in Norway, one in Brazil and one in Gulf of Mexico. Additionally we have two new buildings at Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore.


We are looking to employ one Health & Working Environment Engineer to our headquarters in Mölndal who is interested to work in an international and challenging environment.

The Health & Working Environment Engineer will be working in the HSEQ department and have colleagues from different continents around the world. The main tasks are to develop and implement the Health and Working Environment Management System, including the Chemical Handling System and follow up the work, training and performance onboard the vessels.

Duties and Responsibilities


* Responsible for coordinating, developing, maintaining and implementing the Health, Working Environment and Chemical Handling parts of the Management System and continually improve its effectiveness.
* Actively promote Working Environment Awareness and a good Working Environment.
* Be the focal point of contact in respect of Health and Working Environmental issues for the Rig Project Teams.
 
* Must be fully committed to preventing injuries, illness and damage to the environment.
* Monitoring the performance of the Management System and any need for improvement.
* Advising and assisting on all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment issues.
* Perform internal and participate in external Working Environment Audits.

Education/Training

Degree in Engineering, Natural Science, Health and Working Environment or similar educational level



Experience & Skills


* 5 years’ experience within the H&WE profession or similar.
* Good to Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Experience with word processing in Word, Excel and Power Point.
* Knowledge of marine or offshore operations is an advantage.
