What´s in it for you?
The High Voltage (HV) system design team is part of propulsion strategy department. We work with the electrical propulsion system for the electric vehicles and have an important role when it comes to creating new HV concepts and integrating HV components into the HV system in the most optimized way.  
The HV system contains power electronic converters for which EMI issues need to be handled. Our group works cross functional within the electrical propulsion system in areas such as system design, electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The team is responsible for the EMC performance of the HV system.
We are a small, international team who work closely together and like to learn more and develop both as individuals and as a team.

What you´ll do
As an EMC system engineer you make sure that the HV system in an electric vehicle is well balanced, safe, robust and meets our requirements. You will set up requirements that works as play rules for all components that shall be part of the system and follow-up the test results. You will work closely with people who are responsible for the ingoing components of the HV system such as traction battery, electric machine, inverter and charger, as well as complete vehicle EMC team.
Together with your colleagues, you will establish and update EMC requirements on HV components, participate in solving problems that arise regarding EMC for the HV system, participate in investigations for future electric propulsion systems and identify the need for advanced engineering projects.

You and your skills
We are looking for a person with a university degree within electronics, or equivalent skills. Minimum bachelor’s degree. Previous work-life experience within EMC engineering is a requirement for the role. We also expect that you have work experience within power electric engineering, power electronics, electric propulsion systems and components within the high voltage system, as well as knowledge in standards and regulations regarding EMC limits and EMC testing in electrical vehicles. Practical experience of EMC measurements is meritorious.

It is important that you are team oriented and willing to contribute to the atmosphere as well as the deliverables from the team. The job also requires that you are self-motivated with a strong drive for personal development. Experience of agile way of working is a merit.
