Highly skilled Power System Protection Scientist

The challenge: Excellent background in power system analysis, control and operation is required. You have specific expertise in power system protection and control, both in transmission and distribution grids - such as line protection, transformer protection, generator protection, busbar protection as well as HVDC protection, wind farm or distributed generation (Microgrid) protection, FACTS related device protection. This is necessary as more and more power electronic device applications are used in the grid. In addition to the above, it is also expected that you are familiar with modern substation automation technology development and international standards such as IEC61850. You are expected to be familiar with certain simulation and analysis tools such as EMTDC/Matlab, which you combine with good documentation skills.

Qualifications: You need a Ph.D. or similar working experience in the field of power systems. Fluency in English, excellent communication skills and high capacity for multi tasking are essential. And you must have the potential to be a good project leader.
