Location: Sweden / Gothenburg
Role summary:
As an expert HIL Model Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining plant models for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) equipment, focusing on ePowertrain, Chassis, Kinetics, and Body domains. Your responsibilities include developing test specifications, integrating IO & Plant Models, automating test cases using Python, coordinating HIL bench deployment, and designing fault injection solutions for sensors, actuators, and communication buses. This role demands expertise in MATLAB Simulink, Simscape, Stateflow, and M scripting, as well as experience in system testing and HIL commissioning using dSpace and NI HiL Real-Time platforms.
Key responsibilities:
Develop Plant Models for Propulsion systems and IO Models for HIL.
Integrate IO & Plant Models and maintain Model architecture roll-out for different systems.
Create test specifications from System/software/controls requirements and validate using dSPACE platform tools.
Automate test cases using Python and execute the test script.
Coordinate HIL bench deployment and support for Propulsion systems HIL benches.
Plan, communicate, and coordinate HIL Test strategy and automation framework rollout.
Design and develop fault injection solutions for sensors, actuators, and communication buses.
Design hardware simulators for vehicle components such as inverters, motors, batteries, fuel cells, etc.
Develop HIL harnessing and hardware interfaces for simulated components.
Develop support Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) or GUI for HIL test execution and rapid prototyping.
Maintain HIL system architecture following requirement updates and evolution.
Develop HILST test environments for Vehicle ECU subsystems testing, verification, and validation.
