Hillrom is looking for a Sourcing leader

We are now looking for a Sourcing/Commodity Leader (Strategisk inköpare). As Sourcing/Commodity Leader in Luleå you report to the Europe Sourcing Director who is stationed in France and you will be part of the Global Sourcing Team.
About the position
As a Sourcing Leader you execute the strategic sourcing efforts, leads respective sourcing and supply management activities for the commodities that is in your scope of responsibility. You operate and lead projects and activities in areas as continuous cost improvements, continuity of supply, quality, and risk mitigation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Provide input to and implement sourcing strategies ensuring quality, value-cost optimization, service performance and business continuity are maintained with selected suppliers,
Drive annual productivity and savings within responsible commodities using the multistep strategic sourcing process,
Manage supplier partnerships to ensure continual performance expectations are met and year over year productivity targets are achieved by conducting proper supplier management techniques,
Measure and track performance within each spend and define budgetary impact,
Act as lead negotiator for small to medium local or regional business agreements,
Monitor, track and report on savings and key performance indicators for targeted category,
Partners with our customers (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and End Customers) to develops and executes sourcing/supply chain strategies that delivers value through total cost of ownership,
Identify areas of risk within supply chain & implement appropriate mitigation measures.

We work according LEAN- principles and our OMS (Operative Management System). We focus on continuous improvements and have a problem-solving culture. We welcome problems, because when we identify problems; we can improve.
What is your background
Academic or engineering degree preferably Industrial economics.
Over 5 years work experience that includes:
Project Management
Product development
Business experience, having multiple customer- and/or supplier contacts
Negotiations and business transactions
Sourcing matrix organization
You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
