HMI SW Developer

GTA Driver electronics

Driver Electronics is one of five Global Technology Areas (GTA) within Global Electrical and Electronics Engineering. We are represented on all Volvo Global Trucks Technology (GTT) sites and consist of skilled engineers in the area of:

· Vehicle functions and electronics

· Security functions and electronics

· Entertainment functions and electronics

· Human interaction

Position Description:
· At the group Cab Instrument and Functions within Global Technology Area Driver, VGTT, we are looking for an HMI sw developer

· The HMI sw developer is responsible for developing HMI related SW such as GUI:s, Launchers, Simulation models/HMI prototypes, meeting the expectations of our customers with regards to Quality, feature and Cost

· The HMI developer is working in close cooperation with the rest of the GTA resources, as a bridge between the HMI team and the component teams

· As an HMI sw developer You will be located in Lundby, Gothenburg, and work in the team responsible for developing the truck HMI, Instrument cluster and Secondary information display

· Our mission is to deliver world class products in the area Driver Electronics where an integrated, and intuitive HMI, is key

· You will in this role be the main responsible developing the HMI sw and have a large network cross-functionally and globally

· You will be working in an area that have the highest demands on flexibility, innovation and possibility to adapt the end result

Main Responsibilities:
· Develop HMI sw for concerned electrical control units (ECUs)

· Cooperate with external supplier, development partner or in-house software team

· Cooperation with internal as well as external stakeholders and customers

· Continuous communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers

· Secure product documentation in Volvo GTT production- and development tools

· Participate in Pre-study teams and advanced engineering

· Deliver software according to committed QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature)

Required Competencies:
· Experience of, and knowledge in, HMI related software development within the automotive industry, or other relevant industry

· Minimum 3 years of experience from developing SW in HMI related tools (QT, TAT MotionLab, EB Guid, etc.)

· Experience from Requirement Management and Configuration Management with regards to SW development

· Experience from a customer - supplier set up / way of working

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Minimum Education Required:
· Technical university degree within software- or electrical engineering
