In this position, you will be working with maintaining and commissioning hoists for our clients.
We work with service and after-sales services, projects, conversions and upgrades. Our offer consists of flexible forms of cooperation with our customers and we do this in close cooperation with other units within ABB. We provide services that increase reliability, availability and profitability, and reduce the environmental impact of our customers' production facilities. We cover the entire life cycle of the plant and help our customers to work on continuous improvement.
ABB is growing with many exciting assignments and projects with our customers together with several mines globally and in Sweden. We are now looking for two driven Service Engineers who want to build the foundation for an exciting future within ABB.
The positions are located in Kiruna, Skellefteå or Västerås.
This position reports to Hoisting Service Manager.
Your responsibilities
You will work in a team and take care of service, maintenance, commissioning, programming, design, etc. on mining equipment at our customers.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the delivery is of the right quality, on time and on budget.
You share ABB's core values around security and privacy, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business community.
The position requires travelling in Sweden and also globally.

Your background
You have an Engineering degree or secondary education in a relevant field.
You have a technical interest.
Experience of programming in the 800xA, AC800 and AC500 control systems is a merit but not a requirement.
Experience in industry and preferably in the mining industry is highly desirable.
Understanding of an entire process from circuit diagram drawings to the control system software.
You are driven, self-motivated, have good collaborative skills and excellent communication skills.
You work in a structured way and are good at planning, organizing and prioritizing the work in an efficient way.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.
You have a B driving license.
