Homologation Engineer. Automotive

About the job
Within AFRY, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM’s, startup companies and system suppliers (Tier 1). We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
We are now looking for more Brave, Devoted,Teamplayers to work within the Certification process.This includes the management of application material for application documentation, to manage the necessary authority contacts for the specific responsible area, to manage detailed time-plans for the certification activities.
The main responsibilities are:

To maintain a sufficient competence in the applicable regulatory area
To support the organization with interpretation and authority support during the development process
To prepare and manage the certification activities (including conducting meetings prior authority testing)  

The certification engineer has the authority to:

Act directly together with the certification authorities in interpretation and certification matters
To require confirmatory test results from R&D as a basis for the authority test
To require R&D support during the authority testing activities  


Who are you?
We believe you have an analytical and deep knowledge with in the relevant legal requirements. You have the ability to prioritize, understand, summarize and communicate legislation and  regulatory information, of various technical content.
