Hotel Manager
. Responsible for the management and operation of the ship's Hotel department in compliance with DCL and regulatory requirements
. Holds department leaders accountable for their performance and facilitating solutions with these leaders where challenges are encountered
. Administers the Company's Hotel Department Annual Operating plan by reviewing the financial statements with the Division heads
. Provide leadership and direction for the hotel operations on the ship (over 650 Crew) including Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry Concession, Merchandise, Photography Concession, and Spa Concession
. Investigates and resolves Guest complaints (written and verbal) either in person or by delegated division head; Works toward Guest problem resolution to prevent future occurrences of similar challenges
. Minimum five years or more experience in a Hotel Management leadership position of a large international cruise ship or land based hotel
. Ship experience strongly preferred
. Bachelor's degree (or International Equivalent) in Hotel Management or Business Administration
. Thorough understanding of USPH standards; CDC Vessel Sanitation certificate preferred
. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
. Proven leadership skills, especially in the areas of team building, innovation, communication, and service delivery
. Experienced in providing leadership to a multi cultural workforce
. Self motivator, able of providing support, leadership, inspiration, training, and guidance to the Hotel department
. Thorough understanding of financial and budgetary responsibilities; ability to read, analyze and interpret P&L and
