Silversea cruises, world leader in luxury cruising operating four vessels on world wide itineraries is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Headwaiter
This position contributes to the Company's Mission, values, and strategic priorities by implementing the principles of Aggressive Hospitality in the following areas:
.Efficient, courteous and technically excellent food and beverage service.

In carrying out these responsibilities, the headwaiter undertakes duties in the four areas of the professional performance score card:

The corresponding duties in each of these performance areas are detailed below. Theses duties are undertaken within company policies, standards, and operating manuals, regulatory mandates.
1. Ensures efficient, courteous and technically excellent food and beverage services
2. Provide on-floor co-ordination of the guest experience in food and beverage areas.
3. Handle "special orders". .
4. Use Silver Service methods and standards to handle guest requests, inquires, and complaints.
5. Regularly monitors customer satisfaction and takes personal responsibility to ensure it
6. Proactively demonstrates sincerity and hospitality in all guest interactions
7. Follows through on customer inquiries, requests and complaints
8. Corrects problems promptly.
9. Induct, train, coach, and lead crew to consistently superior levels of performance.
10. Determine and communicate standards of performance to employees
11. Fully implements the Performance Interview system and complies with the certification process
12. Complies fully with company procedures for talent management including the policies for promotion and transfer

Financial
19. Control the cost of china, silver, glass, and consumable items
20. Prepare cost productive requisitions for sundries and consumables according to activity projections.
21. Prepare cost productive staff scheduling and overtime.
Processes and Procedures
22. Maintain equitable IPM schedule.
23. Follow company product and service standards and procedures.
24. Provide on-floor coordination of crew luggage and light luggage duties on turnaround days.
25. Assist with pre-service staff meeting.
26. Perform all other duties as requested by managers
Cleaning and Maintenance
27. Adheres to USPH and company cleaning and maintenance standards.
Safety
28. Carry out assigned roles for crew and passenger safety drills.
29. Comply with the Company's safety and pollution prevention regulations and operating procedures.
