HQ IT Engineer Job Description

Reports to: Kaci Cornejo, Group IT Manager
Level: Intermediate

Stillfront is seeking an IT Engineer for our growing team. Our team has accepted the challenge at hand, as the guardians of balance and watchdogs of keeping the natural order of things. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Engineer to help us across the Stillfront Group of game companies. We are always working to keep our games and supporting systems fast, reliable and secure for our global customer base, and creativity, tenacity and initiative are key. Our ideal candidate has a technical background with prior experience in an IT role with Systems Administration and Networking experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for daily IT operations in the local Stockholm office. Leveraging your prior experience, you respond to incoming requests, prioritize, and take the initiative to automate or improve processes as needed. During local business hours, you will provide technical support for the Stockholm office and work with the Global IT Team on larger projects and security initiatives. This role is part of a global it-team and reports to the IT Manager based in the US.

Responsibilities

Resolve IT Support incidents and service requests, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Network Administration - manage relationships with local vendors, perform network updates, troubleshoot, and resolve local network issues.

User lifecycle management - provisioning/deprovisioning users and computers

Asset Management: maintain inventory systems, order hardware, and provide software to new joiners.

Perform regular access audits

Administering a wide variety of SaaS apps; provision/modify/remove access as needed.

Ordering/procuring equipment, maintaining vendor relationships, and inventory management for all IT hardware and software

Participate in IT Team Projects & Security Initiatives

Able to communicate effectively and concisely to the entire company.

Supporting global workforce, partnering with overseas IT teams

Analyze existing processes, suggest and make improvements, and implement business processes where none exists.



Required Experience

-
Background in IT with experience in a similar role

-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Svenska

-
Excellent teamwork skills.

-
Familiarity with Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android devices

-
Ability to administer Google Workspace and M365 for day-to-day operations

-
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.).



Desired Experience

-
Cisco, Juniper, or PaloAlto network experience

-
Microsoft M365 and Endpoint Management

-
Familiarity with administering any/all of the following technologies: Slack, Google Workspace, Google Meet, Zoom, M365, Dropbox, and Teams

Prior experience with networking and systems administration
