About the Unit
Yara Europe HR consists of four organizational elements: Organizational development, Regional Operations, HRBP, and local HR. Regional Operations drives harmonization of services, processes and tools across Region Europe to ensure a professional operation of HR and high quality data for decision making. Regional Operations provides a single entry point to HR where Regional Operations is divided into four subject matter areas: People Services, People Resourcing, Performance & Development and Compensation & Benefits Operations. The Compensation & Benefits Operations team cover four main services, namely Compensation Management, Benefits Management, Payroll and Time & Leave Management.
We are now looking for an HR Advisor to join our Compensation & Benefits Operations Team. The HR Advisor for Operational Compensation & Benefits is responsible for supporting the coordination of compensation and benefits processes at regional level in compliance with global policies. In addition, the position will ensure that the processes are in line with local legislation and regulations in cooperation with other members in Regional HR Operations and Local HR. In addition to this position will work on the Payroll and Time & Leave Management as well as benefit administration for Sweden.
Responsibilities
Coordinating and supporting the Regional Compensation & Benefit processes as follows:
Review and support on Compensation & Benefits processes in Yara Europe
Position grading / job leveling processes at regional level and keep track of holistic grading overview, as well as support changes in benefit plans and coordinate proposal in close cooperation with Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager
Support on salary budget frame, calculate the cost impact and prepare compensation framework and guidelines before communicating regional salary review process kick-off
Support in selecting and managing third party benchmark providers for industry / market compensation comparison and benchmarking of salary ranges as well as for (local) benefit execution in coordination with relevant teams (e.g. procurement, payroll)
Advise managers on and manage off-cycle increases in line with global standards, regional salary levels, and local collective labor agreements
Conduct competitive analysis of benchmarks and identify gaps to current benefit plans
Publish compensation adjustments and incentive payments (global short-term incentives and local bonus schemes)
Developing communication and training in collaboration with the team for Yara Europe HR and Line Managers
Co-ordinating the Payroll and the Time & Leave Management Process for Sweden together with outsourced payroll partner in Sweden, in addition to identify potential improvement areas.
Profile
Relevant degree-level education
Min. of 3 year relevant work experience in HR, also depending on level of expertise and seniority of previous roles
Good communication skills. Ability to simplify and visualize complex issues.
Understanding or strong interest in cyclical compensation and benefit processes including budgeting and benchmarking, strong market insight
Experience working with HR Information Systems. Experience with MS tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) is an advantage.
Good knowledge of GDPR and HR compliance
Strong analytical skills. Ability to pay attention to details yet see the big picture.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to optimize and harmonize processes
Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are a benefit.
