Arbetsbeskrivning
The ILL's Recruitment and Integration group is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and integration process as well as some of the associated administrative formalities (employment contracts, contract amendments, etc.) in conjunction with the Personnel Administration and Payroll group. We recruit both in France and internationally in a variety of sectors such as science, engineering, high tech and support functions.
Duties:
You will provide administrative support within the Recruitment and Integration group, working in close collaboration with two other assistants.
As a member of this multi-skilled team, you will take charge of some of the group's activities, which include:
- Advertising job openings internationally, including on the different social media platforms
- Tracking applications, organising interviews, communicating with applicants in French and English
- Preparing employment contracts and amendments in compliance with French labour law
- Dealing with residence formalities for non-French staff (visas, work permits)
- Welcoming newcomers and helping to organise "welcome days"
- Performing other administrative duties, including within the framework of the ILL's internship and PhD programmes
- Depending on your skills and experience, your duties could be extended to include other activities, such as sourcing and assisting with HR communication activities.
Qualifications and experience:
- You have a Level 4 / Level 5 qualification (NVQ, BTEC HND or equivalent) in business and administration (administrative assistant) or in human resources management.
- You have some professional experience in the field of HR, preferably in an international academic environment.
- You are proficient in MS Office and have a strong interest in the use of IT tools.
- You are a team player with an ability to prioritise and organise your work and sound interpersonal skills.
- You have demonstrated adaptability skills and an ability to respect confidentiality.
Language skills:
As an international research centre, we are particularly keen to ensure that we also attract applicants from outside France. You must have an excellent knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL). You must also have some knowledge of German.
