About the position
On Perido we are now helping our client to find a HR-assistant to the Human Resource Section. Our client is an independent agency of the European Union with the mission to strengthen Europe’s defences against infectious diseases as well as identify, assess and communicate current and emerging threats to human health posed by infectious diseases. The office is nicely located just outside of Stockholm city, although due to the pandemic the staff is now mostly working from home. This might change depending on the epidemiological situation.
Your daily tasks
As HR-assistant you will report to the Group leader HRS (HR Services) and the focus on this position is on recruitment. Daily tasks:
Support the centre’s recruitment processes by coordinating recruitment procedures, liaising and communicating with selection committees and candidates as well as preparing the relevant paperwork
Communicate with staff on HR issues regarding competence, including drafting information notes, instructions and web content
Give service internally to staff, as well as externally towards candidates and others.
Provide general support by receiving incoming calls, mail and documentation
Draft and provide data and input for reports and statistics in HR matters
Electronic and paper document management (mailing, typing, photocopying and scanning)
Update information and handling workflows in HR information systems
Manage confidential personal data and files
Support all HR processes and workflows
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
Your qualifications
In order to be successful in this role you ought to have a high level of responsibility and an ability to take initiative. You communicate efficiently in English at all levels, internally and externally, in an appropriate manner and you always make sure to offer a high level of service orientation. Quality always defines your work, and you are solution driven as well as an active listener. Furthermore, we see that you can work under pressure and that you have great experience of organising and prioritising your work accordingly. You can be described as a true team player – with skills in team building and collaboration - even though you also work just as well independently with minimum supervision. Lastly, you know how to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements
Education at university level, or other relevant post-secondary education, preferably in the area of Human Resources
Experience of working in an HR department including personnel administration, preferably in a multicultural environment
Experience and knowledge linked to the relevant aforementioned tasks
Good and thorough with files and documents
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Contract type and hours
Full-time assignment, until 31st of December 2022. Start 14th February 2022.
