With a clear strategic focus, promoting digitalization, new technology and maximizing the value of IT investments together with the business, we’re building for the future and are now looking for an HR Business Partner to cover for a maternity leave until end of April 2021 for the global IT function at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology. Welcome to a position where you’ll get to use your skills to guide our management to succeed in their daily tasks and secure the strategic direction in HR. The location for this position is Stockholm and some travel, within Sweden and sometimes in Europe, is a natural part of your job.
Your mission – enhancing our decentralized organization’s performance with an HR perspective on business needs
You increase organizational performance from an HR perspective in alignment with our business needs, contribute to the development of our business strategy and provide HR expertise and support for the achievement of strategic business goals through development of our people and our organization.

Labor Relations – you’ll lead and coordinate all union negotiations for one of our legal entities
Naturally, you’ll be part of a global network of HR professionals within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and the Sandvik group, and you’ll have every opportunity to learn from others as well as to share your knowledge. As part of our IT Management team, reporting to the VP of IT, you work closely with the team in all HR related matters, along with driving and facilitating actions to further build the management team itself.
Your character – a business focused HR professional with great social skills
We’re looking for someone with a broad background and experience that combines business driven HR with a couple of years’ in an HR generalist position. Probably, you have a degree in HR, Business Administration or a relevant HR field, and you’re well prepared for taking responsibility for the common annual HR activities and easily translate business targets into HR actions. You also have profound knowledge of Swedish labor legislation and experience from negotiations. A benefit would be if you’ve been working in a global matrix organization, are well acquainted with its challenge, and know the strategies to successfully drive change management, HR project management and how to implement new initiatives. As you’ll act both locally and on a global stage, you need to be great at communicating in both Swedish and English.

You’re structured and enjoy acting in an ever-changing environment where your flexibility and ability to solve problems and multi-task are very important. You’re a good listener and a communicator with strong interpersonal skills, easily building trustworthy relationships with business and HR Partners to ensure business needs are met. Integrity is key, and with confidence in your profession and keeping your eyes on the target, you should be trusted advisor in the organization.
