HR Business Partner (1440-02)

Volvo Aero develops and produces components for commercial aero, military aero and rocket engines with a high technology content, in cooperation with the world's leading aerospace companies. Service and maintenance represent an increasing proportion of operations in this area. Volvo Aero offers an extensive range of services, including maintenance, repair and overhaul of aero engines and industrial gas turbines, sales of spare parts for aero engines and aircraft as well as sales and leasing of complete engines and aircraft. HR Business Partners are the front-line providers of HR services to managers. Candidates for this position should have a broad understanding of HR and have a strong customer service mindset. As a HR Business Partner you take the lead in identifying HR-related issues and design strategic HR solutions to address these issues. Job Description: The HR Business Partner function in a generalist role, providing service within all of the HR functional areas and ensure that HR strategy and activities are aligned with and help deliver business goals. You will advise and support management teams and individual managers on all HR-related issues that drive business performance. You will also support managers on labor and employee relations and ensure that managers have access to relevant HR analysis and data relating to hiring needs, training, work force planning etc. As a HR Business Partner you will coach managers in the application of the Volvo Way principles and the attitude survey results etc. Qualifications: * University education in HR or equivalent experience * Experience from HR in a broad perspective * Strong communication skills * Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions * Ability to build relationships and networks * High levels of discretion and integrity * Ability to easily communicate in English, both spoken and written * Understanding of interpersonal relationships and organizational behaviour At Volvo Aero we are actively working to establish groupings that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality, etc. Due to current personnel structure we especially welcome female applicants for this position.
