Sandvik has presented a new Human Resources delivery model and organizational structure. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role has been introduced and will play a very important role for us in enabling a high performance organization by working closely with the business. The main focus is to support the business strategy and aligned people priorities.

Strip is a product area within Sandvik Materials Technology and a world-leading manufacturer of high-value-added strip and powder products. With a portfolio of coated and non-coated products, fine metal powder and HIPped products. We hold strong market positions in industry segments such as electronics, telecom, automotive, printing and consumer durables.

We are now looking for a Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) for Product Area Strip to be based in Sandviken, working as HRBP for Product Unit Precision Strip and also supporting other units when needed.

Key performance areas
As HRBP you are responsible for enhancing organizational performance and the business from an HR perspective. This includes supporting strategic initiatives, contributing in setting the roadmap for the future of PA Strip and creating synergies with other Sandvik entities. Furthermore, you are responsible for performance management, talent and succession management, Diversity & Inclusion and HR controlling. You also take full ownership of the HR delivery model and maintain a close dialogue and cooperation with HR Services to make sure the business receives high quality service. Additionally, you support managers in managing change initiatives by offering expertise and tools. Finally, in all this work you ensure alignment with global policies.

You will be a member of the PU Precision strip management team as well as being part of the PA Strip HR team. The position reports to the HR Manager for PA Strip, with a dotted line to the Product Unit manager at PU Precision Strip.

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in HR or a similar field, or wide experience from the area. Experience from change management and from strategic HR is required, as are good communication skills in Swedish and English, both in writing and speaking. You are an HR professional who takes an interest in using HR processes to promote operational excellence within production, and to be successful it is important that you feel as comfortable in the production environment as in the HR team.

As a person you have strong integrity and confidence. You encourage improvements, deliver results, and are able to balance being a part of a management team with challenging the same. You have excellent communication skills, are a role model with respect to people management and bring an inclusive perspective to your work.
