Sandvik has presented a new Human Resources delivery model and organizational structure. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) has been introduced and will be a very important role for us in enabling a high performance organization, by working closely with the business. The main focus is to support the business strategy and align with people priorities.
Sandvik Construction is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering. The range of products includes rock tools, drilling rigs, breakers, bulk-materials handling and crushing and screening machinery.
The Product Area (PA) Crushing and Screening is responsible for the Sandvik Construction crushing and screening business, involving stationary crushing and screening products, full rock processing plant solutions and mobile crushing and screening solutions. We are now looking for an HRBP, with flexible location.
Key performance areas
As HRBP you will be responsible for enhancing organizational performance and the business from an HR perspective. This includes supporting strategic initiatives, contributing to establishing the roadmap for the future of the PA and staff functions organization and creating synergies with other Sandvik entities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performance management, talent and succession management, diversity and inclusion and HR controlling. You will also support managers in implementing change initiatives by offering expertise and tools. In all this work you ensure compliance with global processes and policies.
You take full ownership of the HR delivery model and maintain close communication and cooperation with HR Services to make sure the business gets high quality service. You handle the dialogue and negotiations with the work councils in individual matters where applicable.
The position involves traveling and initially a lot of your work will involve the UK and Ireland. You will be a member of the management team for PA Crushing and Screening, and report to the PA President.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with at least five years? experience as an HRBP. You have excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and in speaking.
As a person you have strong integrity and confidence. You encourage improvements, deliver results, and are able to function well as part of a management team. Further, you have the ability to challenge the way we think, bringing new ways of thinking into the company. You are also a role model with respect to people management and bring an inclusive perspective to your work.
