Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The HR department at Scania IT consists of 12 people who work together to support our managers within the IT organization in Stockholm (Södertälje). We are now looking for a new HR Business Partner to join the team. You will play an important role to shape the future role HR is transforming into and the journey has already started! We will change the way we work and, work closely with the business to truly enhance our partnership and focus more on strategical questions. Do you want to be a part of this? Your main responsibilities as HR Business Partner  
As one of our HR Business Partners, you share the HR responsibility of our HR processes with your colleagues and work independently to support your assigned part of the organization where you are a part of the management group. The role will move towards a more advisory and strategic partner role with the capability to proactively provide data into business decisions. Reaching excellent results in people management based on a data-driven approach. This means that you will be expected to: 


• Coach the managers in the area of responsibility to get desired results from core HR processes.  
• Challenge and drive action when it comes to strategic workforce planning, organizational design (right size, shape, performance & dynamics), and performance management. 
• Bring data and analytics to the table. Put a price tag on challenges and get others involved through engaging communication (storytelling). 
• Follow up and take action when the expected result is not achieved.  
• Coach and challenge managers in their leadership. 
• Consult in change management. 
• Drive the HR agenda for your department and lead the work within one of our core HR processes.  



What we expect from you 
You have the ability to work in a consultative way which strongly contributes to managers' need to drive the business. You have experience working with change management and is interested in leading change. As change is the main constant factor, both for our organization and our HR group, you appreciate working with high flexibility, customer focus, and a growth mindset.  

You have an analytical mindset and, you believe in the power of teamwork and curiosity. You have experience of qualified HR by working as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role. Your academic background is a university degree in HRM or equivalent. Learning comes naturally to you and using digital tools to enhance your productivity. You have good communication skills in English both oral and writing, Swedish is merited. Experience of agile working methods is merit.
