People Business Partner for APM Terminals Nordics, Gothenburg
Maersk is undergoing an industry-defining transformation and so is APMT Terminals. Based out of Gothenburg, serving an industry with enormous impact on Swedish society, as well as a company spearheading the technologization within the port-industry. Our transformation offers a unique opportunity to impact culture, engagement, leadership as well as governance processes. Therefore we need a People Business Partner who will play an integral role in realizing our ambition to become a World Class Logistics Integrator, as well as a world class Terminal. This new People Business Partner role will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders at the terminal, working to achieve substantial business results through elevated People and leadership capabilities and ways of working.
The role is based in Gothenburg.

Key Responsibilities:
As People Business Partner for APM Terminals Gothenburg, you will
Play a vital role governance process design and execution, including project management, which can entail everything from employee engagement initiatives, way of working with employee (union) relations and union negotiation processes, design of on-boarding processes, internal mobility and succession planning
Be the most senior HR Generalist on the ground and having the oversight and mandate to coordinate prioritization of initiatives and tasks; as well as be the one to escalate to Head of HR Nordics as you see fit.
Enable and maintain great and engaged cooperation among the local HR team and ensuring to deliver as a team
Act as a reliable, stimulating partner to senior leaders and support their strategic global agenda for achieving business results. Translating business strategies into people strategies and action plans: identifying and closing capability gaps, optimizing organizational structure for performance, - translating global strategies/projects into local plans to achieve high engagement
Drive cultural change, change management and talent management in partnership with leaders to achieve organizational effectiveness: advising on long-term talent strategy and ensuring succession pipeline; fostering a culture of high performance
Coach and advise senior leaders: diagnosing people and business challenges and supporting leadership discussion around development, organization structure and design.
Participate in global Product and HR initiatives and projects, ensuring that the people perspective and agenda are woven into our strategy.
Act as an ambassador for our employees and commit to ensuring the delivery of an exceptional employee experience.

The ideal candidate has the following competencies and experience:
Experience in working with Swedish labour law and practices, and being familiar with best-practices in regard to tools, processes, collaboration-standards
Broad HR toolbox and background, enabling you to understand, scope, translate and adapt global HR tools and practices into regional and local scope.
Project management experience to successfully lead the development and/ or implementation of new processes, tools, standards, etc.
Experience from working in a Nordic or Global organization, being familiar on how to naturally collaborate locally but also across borders. Experience from working in a People position within a global matrix organization would be of advantage.
Resilience and maturity in dealing with change/ uncertainty and delivering results in challenging environments.
A passion for developing and coaching others -including your colleagues- to grow talent for the organization as an informal people leader.
Excellence in influencing senior stakeholders, conceptualizing and shaping strategies/ plans, challenging perceptions and expanding points of view, while readjusting the people agenda into strategies and initiatives to ensure buy-in.
Experience with WorkDay (and Kronos) are of advantage
Lean certification is an advantage
Fluent in English
