The vital role of proteins in understanding human biology has been recognized for many decades, but technological limitations severely restricted the comprehensive investigation of the huge number of proteins that could be important in different biological processes and diseases. With Olink, scientists can now simultaneously measure thousands of human proteins using just a few µL of blood sample, with highly specific, thoroughly validated assays that cover a very wide dynamic range (fg/mL to µg/mL).

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced HRBP to join our global HR team. In this role you will provide advice, guidance, and support to the local operations in our Uppsala HQ to develop, retain, and keep our people engaged and motivated. You will also, together with the rest of the HR team, ensure that HR policies and procedures are created, implemented, and updated in line with legislative and audit requirements in conjunction with local and global requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

- Drive the local implementation of key initiatives in alignment with the broader HR strategy and business requirements

- Coach, develop and support local leadership on an ongoing basis - build local leadership capability

- Provide guidance on local labour law regulations and support with workplace issue resolution

- Support in organizing and facilitating workshops for local stakeholders on any relevant/ required topics (from leadership to teaming to labor law, new process implementation etc.)

- Responsible for work environment work from an HR perspective at the Uppsala site

Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HRBP role

- Extensive experience in the Life Science industry

- Experience of working in organizations with and without collective bargain agreements.

- Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, strategies and initiatives to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of Commercial HR within the company.

- Experience with a fast paced and complex work environment

- Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English

- Ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employee and corporate group to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
