Stena Line is currently in an exciting period of development. To match the business needs and the change that the company is going through we need to keep transforming our HR-organization. Stena Line’s HR-department in Gothenburg consists of HR Business Partners, specialists, service partners and coordinators. One of our HR Business Partner is leaving for parental leave therefore we are now recruiting a HR Business Partner to join our HRBP team in Gothenburg from 1st of May until February 2018.
What you’ll do:
As HR Business Partner your main focus is to provide proactive and strategic support to assigned business units on all HR-matters. You will drive, advise and support all people aspects for organizational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives. You will also support and implement all aspects of the company’ strategic HR-business plan. You will report to Manager HR Centre of Expertise and work closely with other HR Business Partners and assigned Management teams. Your main area of responsibility will be our Norwegian route/offices and the employees within that area. The role includes traveling, mainly on board our ships.
In addition to this, your main responsibilities as HR Business Partner will be:
Act as a single point of contact for managers in the business unit. Guide, coach and advice mangers in employee development, performance, employee relations and HR-issues in line with company policy. Hold training sessions for managers and employees. Independently manage assessment and recruitment. Provide day to day support for managers in operational HR matters, including all investigation and requirements for disciplinary matters and rehabilitation.
Who you are:
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent within HR. You have at least a few years of experience from working as a HR Business Partner or other qualified HR-role in a matrix organization with operational focus. We also appreciate if you have experience from working closely with operational management teams and know how to bring value to the business.
Experience from working within shipping, transportation or service businesses is a merit. It is essential that you have the ability to work independently on both operational and strategic level.
We are looking for a fast paced, highly driven person. You are mature, persistent and have a high integrity. You are always perceived as professional and you have both a people- and business oriented mindset.
As HR Business Partner you need to be able to communicate with both managers and employees on different levels within the organization and you must have excellent skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. You also need to be trustworthy and have the ability to motivate others and establish good relationships.
