We are a team with HR professionals that supports and drive the people agenda within Marketing, Sales & Service and Corporate Units. The team have the main responsibility to provide professional support in HR matters and processes, which covers everything relation to the relationship between employer and employee. We are now looking for a new colleague that will take on the role as HR Business Partner towards the corporate unit IT.

As an HR Business Partner you will be part of the team supporting Corporate Units and Customer Service. You will have IT as your corporate unit to support and we work closely together supporting each other when needed. IT has a global responsibility and a global organisation with both managers and employees located in others countries. You will lead our People processes as well as converting our People strategy into specific activities and plans that support achieving business goals within your corporate unit. You will provide operational and tactical support to the business and guide and challenge managers in areas such as compensation & benefits, recruitment, workforce planning and rehabilitation. You will also participate in HR work and projects to implement effective HR processes in collaboration with Centre of Expertise and Service Center.

Main responsibilities

* To guide, challenge and support managers on how to handle HR related issues
* Support management teams and participate in selected management meetings as requested
* Execute HR deliverables in line with People strategy and business needs
* Be part of converting People strategy into specific activities and plans that fully support the respective organisations' business goals
* Proactively build and promote trust and open communication between all levels through the Volvo Car Group culture and code of conduct

Required qualifications

* University degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant area
* At least 5 years work experience within HR and competence areas such as Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Labor relations, Change Management, preferably from a global organisation
* Good knowledge in IT programs such as Excel and SAP
* Fluent in English, written and spoken

* Analytical with high integrity and professionalism
* A great communicator and excellent corporation skills
* High level knowledge of the external business environment, and good knowledge of own organisation's business drivers and key deliverables in order to engage and effectively communicate with key internal stakeholders
* High integrity, works within corporate guidelines and able to apply good judgement within own area of responsibility
* Ability to work independently, with continuous improvements and in a structured way to set right priorities
