Are you a true people person that loves to work close with managers, employees and the business?
As HR Business Partner you will support parts of our business on all operational HR-matters. Your main mission is to coach the managers in your business units so that they can fulfill their people management responsibility and become true Stena Line-leaders. With the strategic HR business plan in mind, you will drive, coach and advice on all people aspects such as organization change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Provide day to day support for managers in operational HR matters, including all investigation and requirement for disciplinary matters, compensation issues and rehabilitation
- Act as a single point of contact for managers in your business units
- Guide, coach and advice managers in employee development, performance, employee relations and HR-issues in line with the company policy
- Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees in line with our cultural journey
- Be part of HR development projects across the company

Since one of our colleagues will be on parental leave we are now looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Scandinavian HR. The team handles all HR matters regarding our Swedish employees, serving 8 of our vessels as well as our shore organization. We are a team of 10 people, who work closely together and sharing the responsibility to give our business the best support.
Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are looking for someone with a can-do mind-set that has a lot of drive and energy for improvements and change. You are able to deal with the typical issues when it comes to working with employees and are not afraid of challenging managers to think outside the box. You are motivated by strengthening managers through coaching them in their daily work and making them the best people managers possible. You have a passion for working with people and to see them grow, as well as working close to the operation. To deliver what you have promised is as important to you as being a friendly colleague.
The must-have’s:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent within HR or similar area
- Solid experience from working as a HR Business Partner or similar HR-role, preferable from a matrix organization with operational focus
- Experience handling HR-matters such as rehabilitation, disciplinary actions, negotiations with unions and people administration
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
