Arbetsuppgifter
The primary responsibility of the HR Business Partner is being a member of one of the Logistics Services’ Global Function management teams as the HR representative. Your main task will be to take lead in implementing and communicating the global HR processes as well as participating in delivering organizational goals for your Global Function. Responsibilities also include driving global coordination for at least one of the global HR processes:
• Translate business strategy and objectives into goals, plans and tactics that are aligned with business imperatives.
• Develop and execute on action plans, following the HR strategies, policies and activity roadmaps decided for Human Resources.
• Demonstrate strategic business knowledge and strong relationships to be able to integrate and align HR plans with the purpose to achieve overall business objectives.
• Support the managers in the implementation of strategies and policies regarding Compensation & Benefits, Labor and Employee relations, Competence management and development, Talent management, Workforce planning, Performance Management and HR related communication.
• Take the lead in identifying HR related issues that have impact on business strategy and develop innovative solutions and activities to address these issues.
• Ensure that HR policies and procedures are respecting legal requirements, and that Volvo Group rules are evaluated regularly to secure quality and efficiency.
• Utilize thorough knowledge current applicable regional labor laws, employment laws and experience in coaching managers through complex employee relations situations.
• Act as change agent to support management in the roll out of new organizational initiatives, and to facilitate cross-cultural integration.
• Take an active role in skills mapping and leading development of competence development plans.
• Manage the headcount and facilitate transfers between units or countries as needed.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• The Head of Human Resources has extensive experience in Human Resources and experience in Automotive HR processes and tools, as well as a strong understanding of business challenges in an international environment.
• Strong labor management skills and experience.
• Managerial experience.
• Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and is successful in people development and culture leadership.
• With a real talent for cultural integration, and business analyses, able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. Extensive documented HR experience required.
• Highly skilled in coaching and facilitation, as well as having a good understanding of interpersonal relations and organizational development.
• A strong communicator with good influencing skills, and also able to create trustful relations in spite of cultural differences and geographical distances.
• In a group that values quality, safety, environment, diversity and respect for the individual, this person holds strong personal credibility, integrity and creativity. The work includes problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of the business environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of ‘flexibility’, including the ability to network effectively.
• Significant change management experience and demonstrated ability to set demanding targets and to motivate teams and individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones, whilst further developing an excellent working climate and atmosphere.
• The individual has the ability to travel.
• Proficiency in the English language is required, other languages are a beneficial.
