You will report directly to the HR manager. You will be part of the AB Volvo Health and safety network.

The function of Global Operations & Quality is proud to be producing and distributing top quality engines to most corners of the world, upholding the Volvo Penta brand and reputation. The Vara plant consists of 300 employees who all contribute in this process.

Your key responsibilities as HR Business Partner will be:
Advise and support individual managers and management teams, decision-making and problem solving in HR related activities.
Advise, guide, challenge and support line managers with HR related processes such as; leadership sourcing, talent development, succession planning, performance management, competence development and compensation & benefits in order to drive business performance

Analyze and secure quality of HR data to understand trends and resolve problems in order to support the capability of the organization.
Your responsibilities as Health & Safety coordinator will be:
Develop and improve H&S policies, vision and mission, standards and procedures.
Collaborate with Volvo Penta Global EHS manager and drive local initiatives.
You will drive and develop our Health & Safety processes including the work environment framework.
You will be responsible of develop, coordinate and also manage education in the Plant.
Coordinate Health & Safety projects.
Qualifications:
University degree in HR, (work environmental care) or appropriate academic qualification in relevant areas is required.
Minimum of 5 years working with Human Resources and work environmental issues
Good knowledge and understanding of both operational and strategic HR
Experience from Blue Collar oriented work environment
Good knowledge in Swedish Labor law and practical experience in negotiation
Proficient in English and Swedish, verbal and written
