URS is currently recruiting a HR Co-ordinator to be responsible for the provision of timely and professional human resources activities and services across the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland and Norway). You will work closely with local managers and the Continental European Human Resources manager in coordinating and delivering recruitment services, generalist HR support, payroll administration, organisational development initiatives and co-ordinating performance systems. This is a challenging and varied position, and you will play a key part in the recruitment and welfare of all staff across the Nordic region. A typical day could vary from pre-screening applicants for a particular vacancy, providing paperwork for a termination or salary adjustment, organising staff payroll, updating HR policy and procedure, or providing generalist HR support and advice to a local manager or employee. You will have at least 3 years recruitment/human resources experience, preferably in a technical field with exposure to generalist HR issues, and a solid understanding of generalist Human Resource Management practices and Swedish, Finnish and/or Norwegian social and labour law. You'll also be an excellent communicator and negotiator, with experience in conflict resolution.
