HR Generalist, IKEA Distribution Services

IKEA Distribution Services North Europe is a part of IKEA´s Supply Chain and is responsible for the distribution of the IKEA range to customers and stores in Northern Europe. We have five distribution centers located in United Kingdom (Doncaster), Sweden (Älmhult and Torsvik), Poland (Jarosty) and Russia (Esipovo). In Torsvik and Peterborough we also have customer distribution centers (CDC) which deliver IKEA products directly to the customers in the Nordic countries, UK and Ireland.

HR Generalist
Location: Distribution Services, Älmhult

We are looking for HR Generalist who will work closely with our managers to make sure that we live up to the IKEA standards by continuously improving our work. You will be a part of the HR team supporting Distribution Centre and Service Office located in Älmhult.

Your main focus will be:
- to support managers in the different HR related issues and ensure high quality of the process
- to cooperate actively with internal and external partners to secure that we work to the IKEA standards
- to work tactically with the managers to develop our organization and our co-workers through a business partnership
- to maintain and continuously develop Human Resources processes and tools
- to work with statistics and reports
- to perform administration and provide information to the business related to people goals

We are looking for you who have and show a great commitment to your work. You have a passion for developing the people and the organization around you. You are open-minded with the ability to motivate and inspire others. We think that you have a degree within human resource and some years of work experience within HR. You are a good communicator with the ability to build trustful relationships. You are a driven self going professional with the service-oriented approach towards your speaking partners. You can quickly adapt to a changing environment and quickly get familiar with new tasks. You are professional in your work and have a well developed ability to express yourself, both orally and written. You are a person who will seize the chance to develop yourself both personally and professionally to meet the challenges we have ahead of us. You have analytical approach in problem solving. The position requires ability to communicate Swedish and English both in writing and in speech.
