The HR Team at Beiersdorf Nordics have an excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist to join our exciting business. The HR Generalist supports the overall Nordic organisation with a broad range of HR related responsibilities with a particular focus on payroll, general administration, reporting, data protection, recruitment and onboarding support, ensuring a high quality delivery. The successful candidate will get to work with all business functions and join a small established team who are proud to work for our trusted brands; Nivea, Eucerin and Elastoplast.
Key Tasks
- Manage payroll and benefits administration for Sweden, Denmark and Finland employees working with our 3rd party payroll and benefits providers to ensure start to finish process completion for all payments and reporting
- Provide an administration service in all aspects of HR to ensure accurate and efficient processes and high quality customer service. This will include areas such as employee contract administration, maintaining HR systems and personnel files as well as training, recruitment and HR policy administration
- Support line managers, employees and unionen with all HR topics and policies, escalating within the team as required.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant Nordic employment and tax legislation as required for HR & payroll responsibilities
- Ensure data protection for all employee data, maintaining the Beiersdorf processes regarding data protection at all times
- Support the HR team with attraction, selection and recruitment of candidates and support the new starter onboarding process
- Support employee communication channels by coordinating monthly Townhalls, maintaining the Nordic intranet pages and provision information for company newsletters
- Support CSR initiatives across the Nordics such as Christmas fundraising and other such initiatives.
- There will be the opportunity to lead and/or support various HR projects
About you
You will have previous experience within a HR/payroll function and have experience of managing Sweden or Nordic payroll (in house or via a 3rd party). You will have a positive self-starter approach and the ability to demonstrate initiative sharing ideas and taking the lead to continuously improve processes. Accurate administration skills and attention to detail with experience of prioritizing workload andtime.
Required skills and experience include:
· Generalist HR/Payroll experience required (Sweden payroll experience essential, Nordics Desirable)
· Excellent communication and relationship building skills
· Knowledge of Swedish/Nordics employment law
· Results driven team player
· Accuracy and integrity
· Ability to work under pressure
· Flexibility in handling planned and unplanned activities as requested
· Willing to learn
· Fluent in Swedish and English
