Right now, we’re looking for an experienced HR professional with high self-drive to join us as an integral part of SMF HR Team where you help shape our future ways of working within HR in a digital arena and contribute positively towards exciting growth journey of Sandvik Manufacturing solutions. A versatile and unique job where we offer the opportunity to combine your broad HR Generalist skills supporting local organization with driving common HR strategic projects for SMF globally. In this exciting dual role, you get to broaden your knowledge of wider business challenges and make an impact in enhancing the business performance of HR, working with stakeholders, both within and outside of HR.
Your mission
In this position, you help us accelerate our efforts by supporting business challenges and providing expertise on strategic people initiatives in an exciting, dual mission.
As HR Generalist, you support the local organization in Sweden in HR related questions and contribute with your knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation, individual cases, recruitment and other operative HR-activities. You offer coaching, advice and guidance to our managers in order to actively raise their understanding and expertise in people management and HR issues. Developing content for presentations and trainings as well as facilitating workshops are also part of your job, that’s why it’s important that you’re comfortable communicating in both English and Swedish. In addition, you interpret and implement our collective agreements and local applications in the work of our staff and time accounting systems. You are an important stakeholder within the HR team at Site Sandviken and to say the least, you’re a key player who can acknowledge, challenge and bring forth the business needs from SMF organization.
As People Engagement Professional, you are responsible to drive prioritized common projects at business area segment level globally for our three divisions. In this role, you are responsible to administer and coordinate our efforts in the area of performance management, pulse employee engagement survey & other chosen people strategic areas where you ensure a high-quality delivery and preparation of the process involving key stakeholders within Sandvik HR. You work closely and interact regularly with division HR and business line managers to gain a solid understanding of current and future business needs including integrating any newly acquired companies within SMF divisions and provide expertise in selected areas with a data driven approach. Looking ahead there are many more interesting tasks and projects for you as we develop and grow our business / talent in digital software space.
In this role, you report directly to the VPHR SMF and you’re an important part of SMF HR management team. The location for this position is preferably Gasverket, Stockholm and some travel is natural part of your job.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in HR, or the equivalent skills gained from a working career. We place great value on your personal qualities. You have strong integrity, confidence and a positive attitude, and you truly speak business from an HR perspective. You are forward looking, eager to learn and look for best practices from the software/digital manufacturing industry to add value to our business. With a holistic mindset and experience from practicing HR in a broad role, you can work very well in a global context and a matrix organization. Finding improvements and new ways of working excites you, and you challenge us when you think it’s necessary. You truly enjoy taking responsibility and with a curious mind, you easily adapt to different situations and have a genuine service attitude.
In combination with this, It’s beneficial if you have knowledge within labor law issues and are familiar with the tools and systems used within Sandvik for example Workday and Time Key. Naturally you have excellent skills in both written and verbal English, and due to the character of the role, you also need to be skilled in Swedish
