We are now searching for a HR Generalist (temporary role) to join our HR Services team in Södertälje.

You will serve as a HR generalist across HR Services and ensure operational excellence in HR data management, systems and processes. It is a generalist role and you will be working within both payroll, HR core data and some financial tasks. The role is operational with controls and validations. You will report to the Payroll & Time manager in Sweden (Södertälje).

The role is temporary during the time period of September 2018 to October 2019.

The HR Services function is a global HR function who is responsible to ensure the provision of effective and efficient HR service delivery. Parts of the HR service delivery are outsourced and the complex transactions and demand organization are retained within AstraZeneca.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Ownership of in-country Workday data and monitoring of quality in partnership with HR Data & Quality Specialist
* Data consultation and design required for key HR processes, e.g. making sure data requirements for yearly HR process are met
* Analyse HR data (both in-house and at third party provider) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support HR decision making processes
* Manage monthly payroll interfaces with vendors
* Conduct monthly validations and controls of payroll data
* Collaborate with outsourced payroll provider
* Interacting with Global and Regional HR Services teams where appropriate to ensure accurate resolution for HR data and reporting
* Analyse the Service Level Agreements within HR Services and queries received by My HR Advisory to identify areas of improvement
* Coordinate the onshore maintenance of process documentation, Standard Operational Procedures and FAQs to ensure that internal HR Services documentation is accurate and reflective of latest global process and system design generated by CoEs, GPOs and HR Solutions team
* Conduct monthly controls, for example SOX/audit controls
* Drive our organizational / simplification processes through continuous improvement; identify patterns of ongoing issue areas and recommend potential resolutions across data, process, system and people/training
* Support the effective governance of local HR data, reviewing changes in processes, policy or legislation and communicating impacts or changes required to other HR Services teams, stakeholders and the organization.
* Conduct ad hoc analyses as applicable to make sure the HR data is correct.
* Review and prepare discrepancy reports, and follow up with Finance, vendors or managers on missing information.
* Assist in data analysing of data and process flow in the resolution of issues.
* Handle monthly and ad hoc local reporting requests, also prepare payroll excel reports to Finance
* Ticket management in Service Now, as well as to payroll provider

Essential Requirements

* Advanced Excel skills
* HR process knowledge
* Extensive data management experience, both core HR and financial
* Strong technical understanding
* Workday knowledge
* Excellent payroll management, organizational, and prioritizing skills
* Ability to think conceptually as well as a high attention to detail
* Experience of vendor collaboration and management
* Self-motivated and able to work in an independent fashion as well as a team environment
* Very good collaboration skills
* Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and in writing

Desirable Requirements

* Experience within the AstraZeneca HR and payroll processes
* Knowledge in purchasing system iBuy and finance system e-Pay
* Knowledge in SAP
