Job description:
We´re looking for an experienced HR professional who can balance day-to-day operational demands with strategic HR initiatives that add extra value to the business. You´ll be comfortable managing operational tasks such as advising on employment legislation, dealing with employee queries, planning recruitment campaigns, supporting interviews, and conducting the performance management processes. You´ll also support people processes such as annual performance and development reviews and strategic headcount and succession planning.
Employee engagement and well-being is extremely important and you will help to maintain a great working culture and ensure employee welfare and engagement are always at the top of the agenda.
Good quality data and the ability to report accurately is crucial in the role so your attention to detail and analytical approach to data will help you with the regular cycle of reporting.
As well as these "business as usual" activities your continuous improvement mind-set will allow you to contribute to strategic HR initiatives and projects as they arise. As an example, recent projects have included rolling out our new Managers training program and e-learning platform, on-going competence development, a company wide employment satisfaction survey and a new annual headcount planning process.
You will be supporting Valmet´s Service and Automation business lines in multiple sites in Sweden and in Norway, your manager will be based in Finland and you will be a member of a global and professional HR community. Requirements:
Essential
- Suitable education (Bachelor´s degree or higher in relevant field)
- 5+ years? generalist HR experience supporting a global business
- Good knowledge of Swedish employment law
- Strong negotiation skills and a persistent attitude to get things done
- Very good English and Swedish language skills, spoken and written
- Solid MS Office skills
- Demonstrable understanding of standard HR metrics e.g. headcount, C&B costs, turnover, resource planning, operational reporting (e.g. sickness and absence).
-You have nerves of steel and understand that boring routines are sometimes part of even the most exiting job
- You are willing to travel, mostly in Sweden and in Scandinavian countries
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of HR SAP
- Lotus Notes experience
- SHL/CEB or similar assessment accreditation,
