Hydro Building Systems Sweden AB develops and markets systems in aluminum profiles for three business areas: Transport systems, Floor systems and Building systems. Human Resources Manager is a compliant and empathetic support partner to the management and employees, who provides on-site, frontline HR support and guidance to all departments within Hydro Building Systems Sweden AB. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that policies and all HR processes are maintained with the highest standards. You will partner with local management and be a trusted advisor to this team. In addition, a communication with the local employee organizations and unions will be a vital part of your role.
To succeed in this position, you should have a comprehensive experience from different fields within HR and a solid knowledge of Swedish laws and regulations.
The position is located in Vetlanda and reports to the HR Director HBS Nordics.
Areas of Responsibility:
Employee relations – contact person for Work Councils and local employee unions
Contribute to continuous development and update of the local HR processes, templates and tools
Drive full recruitment cycle processes in close cooperation with hiring managers
Manage interactions with recruitment suppliers
Onboarding and offboarding activities
Support managers with all questions about Compensation & Benefits
Yearly salary reviews
Coordinating Payroll activities with the provider in our sister company Hydro Extrusion Sweden
Supporting managers with building of performance culture
Monitoring and tracking of employee training and development
Participation in local- and global projects
Follow up of activities in connection to employee surveys
Desired Skills and Experience:
University degree in a relevant field, but long experience from HR can compensate for the requirement of formal education
Fluency in Swedish and English
Minimum 5-7 years generalist experience from operational HR
Experience from work with employee relations and Work Councils
Good knowledge of Swedish employment law
Solid user of Microsoft Office, additional knowledge of HR platforms will be advantageous
Proactive, agile and customer-oriented
High level of flexibility
