As the HR Manager for the Nordics, you will be an integral member of the Nordic Leadership Team (NLT), responsible for overseeing HR functions across Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. You will act as a strategic partner to the Country Manager and will be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with Beiersdorf's values and business objectives. Your expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement will be crucial in ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent in the region.
Your Tasks
Strategic Partnership:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager on the impact of people and organizational decisions.
Act as the legal representative in-country, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Manage labor relations and act as a spokesperson for external stakeholders, representing the country/cluster.
Talent Management:
Proactively identify potential in employees and empower managers to recognize and develop talent.
Actively develop local talent and fill strategic succession pipelines to ensure leadership continuity.
Participate in final-stage interviews for leadership roles to assess candidates for cultural and behavioral fit.
Performance Management:
Enable managers and employees to engage in continuous performance management, including regular follow-ups and high-quality performance conversations.
Ensure the implementation of the reward process, linking rewards to performance outcomes.
Organizational Development, Engagement & Culture:
Shape the organization's future and culture by identifying organizational needs and delivering solutions in collaboration with the Nordic Leadership Team.
Collaborate with global Centres of Excellence (CoE) to leverage blueprints, best practices, and templates for organizational development.
Strategic Ground-Level Spokesperson:
Act as a sounding board for colleagues from the Centre of Excellence, providing input on strategic initiatives as needed.
Liaise with People Services (HR Shared Services teams) to ensure the best employee experience is delivered.
Moments That Matter:
Serve as the main point of contact for the Nordic Leadership Team, engaging with employees and talents during strategically high-impact situations.
Your Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or other relevant qualifications/experience) with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
A background in Human Resources preferably within an FMCG environment.
Ability to think strategically and apply analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling you to effectively partner with the business and engage stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive and hands-on attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and drive HR initiatives forward.
A strong understanding of digital trends and their implications for HR practices, with an affinity for leveraging technology to enhance HR processes.
Proficient in written and spoken English & Swedish.
Experience working in an international environment, with the ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix structure effectively.
