Sandvik IT Global Shared Services is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment, within various areas of responsibilities, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support. We are now looking for an HR Manager and Business Partner. The location for this position is in Sweden and preferably in Sandviken where 500 of our 900 employees are located.
Key performance areas
In this position, you are responsible for enhancing organizational performance and developing the business from an HR perspective. You are an active member of the IT Management team, manage change and support strategic initiatives to continue the journey of modernizing and globalizing Sandvik and Sandvik IT. Furthermore, you and your HR team are responsible for performance management, talent and succession management, diversity & inclusion and HR controlling. You also support the managers in leadership development and further developing the culture in line with our core values and strategic direction.
You take full ownership and accountability for the HR delivery model and ensure compliance with global policies. As the HR Manager and Business Partner you handle the dialogue and negotiations with the unions in organizational and individual matters and lead a team of two other HR Business Partners. You also have an important role in the management team of IT Global Shared Services, where you have an opportunity to conduct the development work together with your management team colleagues. This also requires that you are interested in taking on tasks outside your own function and contributing to activities for the whole of Sandvik IT Global Shared Services.
This position reports directly to the Head of IT Global Shared Services and has a dotted line to the VP of Human Resources Group Functions.
Traveling to other Sandvik units is required.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior HR professional with a degree in HR or a similar field, or with extensive work experience within the area. You are experienced in change management, developing sourcing strategies and flexible manning solutions and strategic HR. We believe that experience from working in a global context and in a virtual organization is necessary to be successful in this position. Excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking, are prerequisite.
As a person you have strong integrity and a high level of self-confidence. You encourage improvements; deliver results with good business understanding and customer orientation; and are able to balance being part of a management team with challenging ideas and facilitating the development of the team. You have excellent interpersonal skills and act as a role model with respect to people management.
