Qualifications
Work experience
HR Manager - At least 5 years of experience or more in similar role. Experiences in international employments are preferred.

Language
Fluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement for this role.

Who are we?
Founded in 2012, FoodVentures became the global expert in high-tech greenhouse operations and supplies fresh & tasty vegetables to global cities from modern farms in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, USA, and China. We manage the entire value chain from seed to supermarket using advanced greenhouses and farming management practices.

FoodVentures is seeking a well-organised HR manager to be part of the newly established Swedish team. In the greenhouse in Frövi high quality tomatoes will be grown in a state-of-the-art greenhouse. The company is looking for a hands-on person who loves pioneering with an international team and has a strong passion for building organisations from scratch.

About the job
FoodVentures is looking for a HR Manager in Lindesberg (Frövi), starting in Q1 2024.
In this role the key job responsibilities are:
As the first hire of the company, you are part of a small and lean management team that eventually staffs its company to its full scale by summer 2024. This includes the hiring of approximate 20 management functions and 100 greenhouse workers.

. Recruit, select and hire new staff
. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to our industry and legal requirements in Sweden.
. Design and implement a hiring and staffing system suitable to our industry.
. Suggest and implement cost-savings on staffing
. Secure compliance with Swedish Labor law
. Union negotiations at both individual and organizational level
Qualifications requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
. At least 5+ years of HR experience in Sweden.
. Experience of leading and recruiting experts is essential
. Overall knowledge of Swedish HR principles, employment laws and best practices
. You have strong communication skills, are well-organized and have a positive and optimistic approach
. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
. Ability to understand business challenges and are open for changes and a creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements
. Deep understanding and experience with building systems and procedures
. Excellent working proficiency in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

Preferred starting date: January 1st 2024
Location: This position is 100% on-site in Frövi
