We are now looking for a strategic HR manager for the Tube division, a position where you will be responsible of creating the prerequisites for Tube and our internal new HR site organization and support in Sandviken to perform at its best. You will be a key player in developing the future manning and resource strategy as well as flexibility and competences needed to support our business in both the short term and long-term perspective. We will be operating under a new and independent legal structure, still belonging to the business area SMT. Our future independent Tube HR site support team which you will lead, will consist of internally shared Tube HR resources in mainly Resourcing, Employee Relations and the Industrial Relations/Compensation area.


We will take you on an interesting, inspiring and challenging journey that requires your commitment and strategic mindset to contribute to the success of our businesses, take responsibility and drive as well as common HR topics and prioritized HR projects for Tube in Sandviken, deliver service and collaborate with trade unions. Together and in close cooperation and coordination with local Tube HR Managers and HR Generalists you will be able to expand your horizon, develop your strengths and talents, and exploit your full potential. The location for this position is Sandviken and you will report to the Tube Head of HR and Chief of Staff.


Job summary
As HR Manager for Tube Site Sandviken, you play a central role in the HR organization and Tube’s future HR delivery and support model. You and your organization will take the lead in coordinating common and highly strategic HR areas in Sandviken and within Tube, and at the same time deliver knowledge and service to the managers and internal stakeholders. In addition to drive, lead and coordinate several projects and change initiatives, your tasks involve many internal and external contacts, and your primary areas of responsibility are Industrial Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Resourcing and Health Coordination for Tube.


Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably within a Human Resources or Business discipline, or are qualified through significant previous experience. You have several years of experience from working with HR in a leading position and in driving projects, preferably in the line organization and near production. Experience and in-depth knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, local HR processes and procedures as well as a good understanding of payroll and time and attendance and its related systems, is an advantage and will be of great value as you develop the strategic direction within this area.


You have a natural talent for building networks, strong integrity and dare to take the lead and make decisions. What is most important is that you have a positive attitude toward the challenges of the job and a focus on adding value to the line organization. This will include operational tasks when needed to support the HR team and business. We expect you to be able to combine initiative and independence with collaboration and understanding of business needs. Excellent communication skills in Swedish both written and verbal, is required for the role. As we act in an international setting, English communication skills are also important.
