Ahead of you is an assignment that requires commitment, curiosity for technology and a passion for learning and development – a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an ever-changing business environment.
About the job
Your responsibility in this role is to support about 30 managers with a staff of 450, located mainly in Sandviken, Stockholm and our Bangalore consultant hub. You offer guidance and expertise – keeping a flexible mindset when it comes to balancing the adherence to our processes and giving solution-oriented support. You take lead in strategic HR initiatives as well as tactical and operational activities, and you know how to effectively lead a small HR team. Collaboration is your key to success, and you constantly interact with your business stakeholders, the IT HR Transformation Lead, as well as the wider HR community to drive synergies, improvements and best practices.
Included in your mission is to:
Take lead in the strategic work regarding staffing and onboarding, ensuring a great employee experience.
Maintain and drive the people policies and processes included in our annual HR lifecycle - such as performance management, talent and succession, diversity and inclusion, leadership development and compensation and benefits.
Work proactively to ensure the needed competence and resources to meet strategies and goals.
Contribute to an agile, value-driven and high performing organization.
Take the EHS responsibility for the Sandviken Group IT office.
You’re based at our headquarters at Sandbacka Park in Sandviken or Gasverket in Stockholm where you’re the go-to person for on-site HR and EHS related questions. You report to Head of Sandvik IT Services (SITS) and you’re a full member of the SITS Management Team and the Group Functions IT team.
About you
For this job, we’re looking for someone with a broad HR and leadership background, including driving culture change, competence development, and agile ways of working. It’s a strong plus if you also have been working as an HR manager or partner towards management teams, as well as being part of a previous transformation journey. Supporting the managers requires a detailed, reliable and high-quality approach, as well as the passion and ability to ensure a great employee experience.
With most of our team members in Sweden, you need to master Swedish labor laws and regulations, and the relations with our Swedish union partners. Naturally, you communicate and present information fluently in both English and Swedish.
As a culture ambassador with a can-do attitude, you’re curious, open minded and unbiased, and you show high integrity in all your work. With a cosmopolitan mindset, you actively work to create a setting where diversity and inclusion is both considered and valued. You have a very professional and business-minded approach which comes in handy when meeting the needs of your management stakeholders, and you build trusting relations by clear communication, proactive time management and you must be able to give hands on support.
