We are now looking for a new HR Manager Sweden who will be part of the continued growth journey and to set direction and implement our people priorities for DFDS in Sweden.

About the role
Be part of the movement - and play your part.  

Together with a fantastic team of HR professionals, you will be responsible for HR Operations and HR Business partnering across Sweden. Together with the team you will work close to the Ferry and Logistics business and play an important part in the continuous development of leaders, employees and organisation as well as People Division. Your team of five consist of HR Advisors and one HR Coordinator and you will also work in close collaboration with our two HR Business Partners in Sweden and colleagues within Nordic & Baltic. You will also be part of the People Leadership team for Nordic & Baltic as well as DFDS Swedish management forum.

In this role you will have the amazing opportunity to lead the highly engaged Swedish HR team and continue our journey of developing and aligning our people processes, our mindset and ways of working to be able to deliver great HR to the business. You will also have a strong impact on how DFDS people strategy and priorities are implemented in the business, meaning our focus on:

You will be based in Gothenburg and report to HR Director Nordic & Baltic.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead, develop and engage the HR team in Sweden

- Act as a strategic partner to local business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer

- Act as a bridge between the global and local people framework and ensuring an aligned One DFDS approach

- Drive, coordinate and implement DFDS People priorities and initiatives, both from a global and local perspective, including development of local people processes

- Drive the local talent agenda and leadership development activities

About you

- Several years of leadership experience with focus on coaching and engaging others

- Broad knowledge from the full HR scope with extensive experience from operational HR and working close to the business, preferably within a global matrix organisation

- Strong ability to drive people projects and prioritize

- Great stakeholder management skills and HR Business Partnering mindset

- Academic degree within HR
