Bulten was founded in 1873, and has since developed into one of the largest suppliers of fasteners to the international automotive industry. Today we have around 1,400 employees worldwide and are headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our offering extends from a wide range of standard products, to bespoke fasteners manufactured to the customer’s specific needs. With our Full Service Provider concept, our customers can either leave total responsibility for fasteners to us, which means that we take care of development, sourcing, logistics and service, or choose just certain parts. Overview
We are looking for a new HR Manager to actively support management to excellence in employee engagement and development.
In this position you work in a qualified and broad generalist role where you support managers and leaders in making a difference regarding their ability to engage, motivate and lead their employees. You are knowledgeable in the entire HR area where you work closely with the managers and the business. You appreciate variety and feel confident in your role to challenge and try new ways to streamline processes and work smart in the long run. Alongside your role as HR manager Sweden you will have a global role as HR Business Partner for an assigned part of the organisation, and a global HR process ownership. You will be reporting to SVP HR & Sustainability and the position will be based at the HQ in Gothenburg.
Main tasks:
Coach and support managers in their work to lead and motivate their employees and to implement Bulten’s HR and Employee strategyPerform/coordinate customary Employer matters and relations in Sweden as e.g. labour law, rehabilitation matters, Trade union contacts and relationships, policy deployment, coordinate Employee handbook maintenance as well as keeping the HR global software content up to datePerform/coordinate customary HR matters as e.g. job descriptions facilitation, Education and skills development issues, compensation and reward matters, recruitment, policy deployment, (talent management)Perform and coordinate HR analytics, both Sweden and globallyImplement, monitor and evaluate HR projects/programs and initiatives as assigned. E.g. Employer branding, Engagement activitiesWork closely together with the EHS manager in order to support Bulten’s H&S strategy and objectives are fulfilledAssists the SVP HR & Sustainability in HR matters and Employee strategy on corporate level and in the establishment and/or integration of new business etc.Contribute in the global HR team and act as subject matter expert/process owner for assigned projects and global HR processes globallyEstablish professional relationship to local and assigned Union representatives and support Executive management in negotiationsParticipate in assigned Function’s management team as HR Business Partner and contribute to the overall planning, follow up and assessment of the operations
Your profile
You have an academic education in e.g. behavioural science or equivalent and sufficient experience from working in a similar role in a global context. You are confident and highly competent in your profession and have an understanding of the challenges that managers may need support in. We expect you to be fluent in writing and communicating verbally in Swedish as well as in English. Being fluent in Chinese is very meritorious.
You need to thrive in a role with great responsibility where you appreciate the power of meeting people. You are responsive, actively present and have a natural ability to build and maintain good relationships. You are expected to have high integrity, be able to work independently, have the ability to prioritize and at the same time maintain the overall perspective.
As a person, you are a natural team player. You are structured, flexible and persistent in your work and have high analytical abilities and good communication skills. You don’t mind being flexible, working with as well more long term oriented assignments as well as very hands on.
