The Human Recourses Business Partner (HRBP) for SMS Production in Sweden is a key strategic position enabling implementation of the SMS Production Strategy, together with Production executives and the HR organization as support. The strategy targets a significant performance uplift aimed at increasing competiveness in the market and enabling ambitious growth plans over the next five years. The strategy program will be the most important effort undertaken over the coming years and it will be central to clearly state the direction for the organization and see that stakeholders conform to the path set out.
We are now looking for someone to be the HR Manager for the Coromant production unit in Gimo and the HRBP for Sandvik Machining Solutions Production, Sweden. The location for the position is Gimo, but travel will be required within Sweden and in the global organization to projects supporting a high performing production organization.
Key performance areas
As HR Manager/HRBP you will be responsible for enhancing organizational performance and the business from an HR viewpoint. This includes supporting strategic initiatives, contributing to achieving targets in the roadmap for the future of SMS Production and creating synergies with other Sandvik entities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performance management, talent and succession management, diversity & inclusion and HR controlling. You will also support managers in managing change initiatives by offering expertise and tools. In all this work you ensure compliance with global policies.
You take full ownership of the HR delivery model and have a dialogue and close cooperation with HR Services to make sure the business gets high quality service. As HRBP you also handle the dialogue and negotiations with the work councils in organizational matters that refer to your area of responsibility.
You will be a member of the site management in Gimo, as well as the global HR SMS Production management team. You will lead and coordinate the HRBPs in the Swedish region with direct reports, and you will report to the HRBP for SMS Production and Supply Chain Management.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or a similar field, with wide experience from the area as a manager. Experience from change management, leading change and strategic HR is required, as is country labor legislation knowledge. Excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking, are a prerequisite for the role.
As a person you have strong integrity and confidence. You encourage improvements, deliver results, and are able to balance being a part of a management team with challenging the same. Furthermore, you are a role model with respect to people management and bring an inclusive perspective to your work.
