HR Manger for PA Primary Products

Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) is a world-leading manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless steels, special alloys, as well as metallic and ceramic resistance materials for the most demanding industries. Its cutting-edge expertise is based on an integrated production platform and world-leading metallurgy and R&D. Operations are divided into four product areas: Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology and Primary Products.

Primary Products (SV) is the entity within SMT that provides the various product areas with primary materials, and consists of Steel Mill, Hot Rolling Mill, Finishing Operations and a unit that manufactures Rock Drill steel. We are now looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to be located in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As HRBP you will be responsible for enhancing organizational performance and the business from an HR perspective. This includes supporting strategic initiatives, contributing to setting the roadmap for the future of PA Primary Products and creating synergies with other Sandvik entities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performance management, talent and succession management, diversity & inclusion and HR controlling. You will also support managers in promoting change initiatives by offering expertise and tools. In all this work you ensure alignment with global policies

You will be a member of Primary's and SMT's HR management groups and report to Head of PA Primary Products.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with training from an HR program, or equivalent knowledge, and who has experience from management and leadership positions in a manufacturing industry and relevant work experience in HR.

You have strong integrity and good self-esteem, with the ability to prioritize your work in an efficient manner. You are able to build and maintain a network of contacts, both above and below in the organization and with other HR colleagues. You can also work independently, as well as take the initiative and make decisions, while also asking for help when needed. Additionally, you have an interest in participating in the development of the business and, therefore, you are good at detecting opportunities for improvement. You give constructive feedback when situations develop and accept feedback with an open mind and reflect on it.
