The European Spallation Source (ESS) will be a multi-disciplinary, large-scale research infrastructure based on the world's most powerful neutron source.ESS will provide scientists with unique and powerful neutron scattering instruments for the study of a large range of materials - from polymers and pharmaceuticals to membranes and molecules.The ESS project is partnered by 16 European countries, and hosted by Sweden and Denmark.The ESS will be built in Lund, Sweden, by a collaboration of European scientists and engineers.ESS is planned to produce the first neutrons by 2019.ESS is a fast growing company and the HR function plays a key role in the build up phase.Hence we are now looking for a new colleague, to help establish the Compensation & Benefits area.You will report to the HR Manager.The employment is a temporary position. Your responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include creation of processes, guidelines, tools, training, and procurements etcetera within Compensation & Benefits. .[[[ Procurement of external Compensation & Benefits partner .[[[ Benchmarking & analysis compensation & benefits for researchers and administrative staff .[[[ Compensation models .[[[ Pay policy, structure (Sw: Befattningsvärderingssystem) and salary ranges/grids .[[[ Performance Management and appraisals (cascade business targets, score individual performance etc) .[[[ Total rewards/employer branding .[[[ Process salary revision according to collective agreement .[[[ Job descriptions The successful candidate Essential: .[[[ Senior experience within Compensation & Benefits .[[[ Experience from an international institute or company .[[[ Experience from building up policies, processes, guidelines etc Desirable: .[[[ Lived and worked abroad .[[[ Experience from a fast growing organisation .[[[ Experience from research environment How to apply Please send your CV and application in English by clicking on "apply" and follow the instructions.
