HR Officer - Work Environment

The European Spallation Source (ESS) will be a multi-disciplinary, large-scale research infrastructure based on the world's most powerful neutron source.ESS will provide scientists with unique and powerful neutron scattering instruments for the study of a large range of materials - from polymers and pharmaceuticals to membranes and molecules.The ESS project is partnered by 16 European countries, and hosted by Sweden and Denmark.The ESS will be built in Lund, Sweden, by a collaboration of European scientists and engineers.ESS is planned to produce the first neutrons by 2019.ESS is a fast growing company and the HR function plays a key role in the build up phase.Hence we are now looking for a new colleague, to help establish the Work Environment area.You will report to HR Manager.The employment is a temporary position. Your responsibilities Your main focus will be; help with building up processes, guidelines, tools, training, procurements etc within Work Environment..[[[ Establishing Safety Committee .[[[ Procurement of external occupational health care partner .[[[ Establishment of Safety Inspections, procedure for rehabilitation work, work-related injury/incident reporting, procedure for work environment induction of new employees and for fire protection .[[[ Policy creation of sexual harassment at the workplace .[[[ Making of a plan for equal opportunity, including an action plan The successful candidate Essential: .[[[ Senior experience within Work Environment .[[[ Experience from building up processes, guidelines etc Desirable: .[[[ Experience from an international insititute or company .[[[ Lived and worked abroad .[[[ Experience from a fast growing organisation .[[[ Experience from research environment How to apply Please send your CV and application in English by clicking on "apply" and follow the instructions.
