Maxar's office in Linköping (former Vricon) has the mission to build "the Globe in 3D", a living digital twin of the physical globe, and create applications for end user success. Our visualization platform offers unique 3D geodata with the world's highest quality based on commercial satellite images. Our 3D analyzes and data models offer decision-makers all over the world a very accurate 3D basis for use in areas such as security, defense, and infrastructure. The Linköping site is focused on 3D products and has currently around 60 employees and 20 consultants and we plan to expand, while keeping the spirit and flexibility of a small company.
We are now looking for an HR Operations Partner to support our team in Linköping, Sweden. In this role, the HR Ops Partner will need to have a strong operational focus, as well as a strategic perspective is also necessary as this role supports organizational and business goals, efficiency, and productivity. That will be demonstrated by participation in management meetings and other forums to provide HR expertise and keep aligned on employee engagement activities while working across all levels of the organization in a matrixed, team environment. Key areas of strategic focus include coaching managers with HR-related needs and assisting with change-related activities and training, all in close partnership with the HRBP supporting the Global Product organization.
As the HR Operations Partner, you will:
* Serve as the first point of contact for all local HR support needs, partners with team members and managers to communicate and interpret company Human Resources policies, procedures, and manages implementation in accordance with local laws, standards and government regulations
* Be responsible for Workday HRIS enablement and local training, and general HR system inquiries from employees and managers
* Partner with HRBPs, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and other functions to assist with the facilitation of initiatives for individuals and programs and implementation at the local level
* Primary local recruitment support for engineering and R& D team; to include local recruitment event activities, Maxar branding support
* Manage all onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure they are aligned with engagement strategy, for employees, contractors and interns
* Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues, conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, collaborates with HRBP on complex issues
* Maintaining good communication and positive relationships to promote employee engagement and satisfaction
* Partner with team members and management to communicate and interpret Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations and HR compliance activities
* Maintain a constant pulse on employee engagement and culture activities
* Support culture change initiatives and apply change management strategies
* Manage a variety of administrative functions for the full employee lifecycle to support the local office needs
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; advanced degree a plus
* 5+ years progressive experience in multiple human resource disciplines, preferably to include employee relations and HR Operations
* Workday or other HRIS experience
* Swedish labor law
* Proven track record of building and managing strong collaborative relationships
* Must demonstrate fluency in Swedish and English, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to prioritize while working at a fast pace
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and leadership skills
* Experience with corporate shared services and working in a matrix leadership model
