Sandvik holds a world-leading position on the rock processing market, delivering cutting edge products and solutions to customers around the globe. To further accelerate the growth and focus on this area, we recently established the new business area Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP), consisting of the former Crushing and Screening division.
To our global HR team, we are now looking for an experienced HR Professional focused on learning and development – a new role with a global reach including the chance to build something from start and make a true impact on our business. With us, you have the opportunity to develop in a global environment, build exciting networks and having the freedom to innovate. This position is based in Svedala, just 20 minutes outside of Malmö, and travel is a natural part of this job.
Your mission
In this position, you are responsible for developing and managing various HR programs and initiatives related to our employee experience in order to add true value to our business – both today and tomorrow. Your work spans across many parts of the HR arena, such as compensation and benefits, recruitment, training, organizational development and employee relations. In order to succeed, you partner with both stakeholders out in the business as well as experts within the different HR-related fields at Sandvik on key initiatives to find the best way forward.
Working with us, you have a split role where you support both the Business Area on a global scale and our site in Svedala - which is also where our headquarters are located. Managing Sandvik Global Graduate Program, hosting D&I workshops and partaking in the setup of new global processes and surveys are just a few examples of your global business area responsibilities. At site level, you actively work in collaborations with various stakeholders to support our mission to increase diversity in our workforce – taking ownership of creating various business cases for initiatives related to employee attraction, development and retention. Other items on your agenda are supporting in issues related to labor law, rehabilitation, union negotiations and annual salary revisions.
Your character
We’re looking for a HR professional with five or more years’ experience from similar roles - driving different HR initiatives and programs as well as conducting workshops, preferably within the manufacturing industry. If you also have experience from project management, we consider this advantageous, but not a must. You have a relevant degree combined with knowledge of labor law, and, as we are a global company with a local presence, you need excellent skills in both English and Swedish.
Your personal qualities are very important to us. You are a committed, self-starting doer and an excellent communicator who knows how to build strong working relationships across the organization. You are also interested and have the ability to lead and motivate others, and get people on board. As a genuine teamplayer with an open mind and a flexible approach, you create an inviting, inclusive and collaborative environment. You are structured and exceptionally good at planning and prioritizing your work, and you develop and adapt in a changing business environment. With a mature mindset, you are as comfortable acting on the shop floor, as you are engaging with senior management. Additionally, your genuine interest in understanding our business and adapting and applying your previous knowledge to progress in your work is what makes you work so successful.
